myLock plus (donate Froyo ver)

myLock was designed as a solution to the nonexistence of customization about whether to have a lockscreen.

As android has evolved, the ability to customize this via our app has been weakened in the process of android security revision.

This version allows you to disable lockscreen so you will automatically unlock past the lockscreen when you wake up the phone. It also has a beta advanced mode which allows normally locked buttons to wake up the phone. It is designed to unlock if a button is pressed again once it has awakened. This feature is exclusive to the donation version.

There is also a status widget you use to turn on myLock without having to go through the settings screen.

Please note that this does not work with security lockscreens. It can only work if you have no password or pattern unlock enabled.

myLock is open source and user feedback driven. By donating 2 bucks you make up for those who can’t or won’t pay even 1.

I am not responsible for any problems experienced while running any task killing app. These apps have been proven to create issues for many types of apps and to have no benefit to any android 2.0 or later version. They were necessary only pre android 2.0, before built in memory management was added to android.

Recent changes:
FYI to past donation users—- features that can no longer work due to security changes in android froyo:

We can no longer invoke an Idle time to turn on a security pattern lock.

We also had a mode to hide any visuals of the basic lockscreen. That capability was also removed by Froyo changes to the lockscreen suppressing window options.

Further development is discontinued on myLock until real options to replace or customize the lockscreen behavior are added to the android SDK.
