Words of Jesus Daily Bible

Following the success of ‘Identity in Christ Daily’, this is the second of our daily verse Apps for Android.

Words of Jesus is a Home screen Widget, and daily notification that delivers the words of Jesus to your phone daily. An attractive small or large Widget that shows a verse each day from a large selection picked from the Bible, each of which are the words of Jesus from 2000 years ago, but just as wise and relevant today as ever!

Switch between the English Standard Version (ESV) or a modern-English translation, to give excellent readability.

Clicking on your verse for the day shows an expanded view which allows you to focus in on the verse and choose from links to other translations online, or see the whole chapter. And if you need further uplifting reading, simply click to see the next verse as well!

You can also ‘Share with a friend’ at the click of a button, and send the verse straight to them via an email, SMS text message, or copy to clipboard (to paste to Facebook, Google+ or Twitter for example). Share the blessing of a Bible verse with them too!

The optional notification can be shown each day alongside your daily tasks and appointments in the Notification Bar.

We’re also excited to announce that we can bring you access to the mobile version of BibleGateway, so you can get even more out of the verse by simply clicking and going online and reading the whole chapter in any number of different translations of the Bible, using this excellent and trusted resource.

Recent changes:
-Added ‘Read aloud’ option on menu to read the verse to you! This has been added specifically to enable everyone to access the word of God.

-Added ‘Search Bible’ option to search a word or phrase in the entire Bible, and in any version.
